About the Awakening Woman Initiative
What does it mean to be a spiritually empowered woman in this time of planetary transformation?
The Awakening Woman is an initiative of women teachers educating women in spiritual empowerment. Our network brings encouragement, inspiration and tools for women in this time of planetary change. We represent diverse traditions, lineages and backgrounds of spiritual practice. Modalities include: meditation, breathwork, empowerment teachings, movement, yoga, and the arts.
Programs include:
- Special events bringing together women from diverse traditions and backgrounds to reveal the common Truth within us.
- Meditation and spiritual empowerment classes in women's resource centers, safehouses and community centers. Care is taken to "meet women where they are"; appropriate and practical language and methods are chosen to cultivate wisdom and empowerment in daily life.
- A comprehensive web site featuring online writings, resources and materials as well as links to associated teachers/organizations locally and worldwide. Information on classes, retreats and events.
- A bi-monthly membership based newsletter featuring writings, wisdom, and current events from associated women teachers/leaders.

We are Awakening Women.
We come together to reveal, experience, and embody the Truth of the Divine Feminine within ourselves in communion with women.
We recognize the planetary shift that is happening today and intimately feel the movement of spiritual awakening in our lives.
We feel the emergence of the Feminine Principle within and without, and the call for balance individually and in the society as a whole.
We acknowledge the great Power, Energy and Presence available for transformation during these times. We offer a source of nourishment, healing, and empowerment for women of all ages, backgrounds, and experience.
