By land: Crestone is a four hour drive south from Denver along highway 285.
By air: The nearest airport is Alamosa, Colorado, airport code ALS (one hour drive - airport serviced by Great Lakes Airlines, which partners with Frontier and United). The nearest major airport is Denver International, airport code DEN (four hour drive), which is served by most major airlines.
There is a private taxi service from the Alamosa Airport (nearest airport, 1 hour from Crestone). Please call Cynthia Peters with Blue Pearl Taxi at 720-273-7390 for more information.

Some travel in Crestone is by dirt road that can be rough; it is advisable to have a high clearance vehicle, to share rides as much as possible or walk if the distance is short. Again, please be mindful of the posted speed limits in Crestone on paved roads, take it slow on the dirt roads and please observe the Crestone tradition of waving to other drivers.
With enough interest, there may be a shuttle service driving from DIA to Crestone on the morning of Friday, October 23rd. If you are interested, please e-mail info@TheAwakeningWoman.com and title "transportation from DIA". You will need to book your ticket to arrive in DIA by noon.

Phones: Cell phones do not work well in Crestone; Verizon seems to be the best network to get cell phone reception.
Fax: There is a fax machine at Peak Printing in downtown Crestone (you will need to pay to send a fax).
Internet: There is internet access at the Shambala Cafe and Peak Printing in downtown Crestone, though there is a nominal fee at both places. There is free internet access at the Crestone Library (on Road T just West of the White Eagle), but it is only open M-F from noon to 4:30pm
